Mandarin Orange Olive Oil - Agrumato

Our mandarin orange olive oil agrumato is made with local mandarin oranges
from our farmer-friends at the Tri-L Ranch! They deliver them just in time to co-
mill with fresh olives. ."Agrumi" means, "citrus" in Italian, and to make a food
"agrumato", is to make it citrusy. The results are "assolutamente delizioso!"

We take our inspiration from the Sicilian olive oil maker who popularized the
technique, fusing mandarin oranges and olives at the end of each season to
create a special, limited edition of agrumato-style olive oil

The fresh orange flavor is the perfect addition to your favorite recipes, seasonal
dishes,cocktails, salad dressings and of course for Orange Olive Oil Cake

Waffles -- transformed!Review by Betsy
We had cornmeal waffles for breakfast this morning and I decided to use your Mandarin Orange Agrumato on "seconds" instead of butter, which I had on the first batch. I finished them with some nice Vermont Maple Syrup just as I had the first serving (I'm still a traditionalist about that!) OMG. Hold the bus! These waffles were transformed! I highly recommend trying this flavorful oil on waffles or pancakes. Bright, citrusy, and moist without adding any extra sugar. The maple paired with them nicely. I'm telling all of my friends. I Drive Out of My Way to get THIS!!Review by Rachel
This review is going to sound overly dramatic, but believe me, it is written in all sincerity. This particular kind of Lucero olive oil is truly one of the best and more versatile oils to buy when you see it. Not only is it amazing to cook with (saute, roast, etc.), the mandarin flavor of the oil lends itself nicely to dressings or drizzling to finish off plates like soups or stews. I have used it now for many years and since I do not live by Corning, I drive almost an hour to Roseville so I can purchase it from the Whole Foods Market there about twice a year.

It will give all your favorite recipes an incredible depth of flavor. My favorites are using the oil for roasting primavera vegetables and also for making tomato bruscetta. I HAVE NEVER CONSUMED TOMATOES IN A DISH BEFORE PAIRING WITH THIS OLIVE OIL. :D Never. Ever. I invest in heirloom tomatoes and use the mandarin olive oil for them to soak in with basil, garlic, and kosher salt. OH MY WORD. I eat all of it.
