This year we had all five of our Extra Virgin Olive Oils ready for competition, as well as our “Crushed” olive oils: Mandarin & Lemon (new products for Lucero). Once again our olive oils proved to receive superior results amongst the best in California. We do believe that we have many of the best olive oils in California, but we challenge you (the consumer) to validate this. Feel free to compare our olive oils to any California produced olive oil. This year we had all three of our Extra Virgin Olive Oils ready for competition, as well as our new Mandarin Crushed Olive Oil (a new product for Lucero). Remarkably we had a clean sweep with all our olive oils receiving Gold Medals, with our Ascolano and Mission repeating from last year. This has been a great way to start the year!

We are proud to say that Lucero Olive Oil has had another strong showing on a worldly level. This year’s Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition judged 396 oils form 274 producers. This has grown to be one of the largest, and most well known olive oil competitions in the world. We entered all three of our Extra Virgin Olive Oils, as well as our new Mandarin Crushed Olive Oil. Even among the stiffest of competition, our olive oils have proven themselves over and over again as seen from these results. Further supporting our goal of becoming “California’s Premier Olive Oil Producer.”
